How we charge for our claims services, in plain English.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
Checking whether you may have a valid claim never costs you anything. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed once we’ve reviewed your details, whether that review is carried out by us or by the specialist regulated partner we introduce you to.
If your claim is unsuccessful, you won’t pay us a success fee. If your claim is successful, our fee is a percentage of the redress recovered, subject to FCA fee caps. “Where applicable” matters here: not every claim type or outcome is suited to a No Win, No Fee arrangement, so we’ll always confirm exactly how a particular claim will be charged before you agree to anything.
Where a success fee applies, it’s worked out as a percentage of the amount of redress you’re awarded, and that percentage gets smaller as the redress amount gets bigger. Our fees range from 18% to 36% (including VAT), depending on the band your redress falls into, with a maximum fee cap for each band:
| Redress awarded | Fee (inc. VAT) | Maximum fee (inc. VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| £1 to £1,499 | Up to 36% | £504 |
| £1,500 to £9,999 | Up to 33.60% | £3,000 |
| £10,000 to £24,999 | Up to 30% | £6,000 |
| £25,000 to £49,999 | Up to 24% | £9,000 |
| £50,000 and above | Up to 18% | £12,000 |
Where a claim results in both a cash refund and a reduction to an outstanding balance, both are counted towards the total value of your claim when working out the fee, though the fee actually charged is always the lower of: the percentage above applied to the total value, 75% of any cash amount received, or the maximum cap for that band. The exact figure that applies to your claim will always be confirmed in writing, in your client agreement, before you commit to anything.
Once you sign a client agreement to proceed with a claim, you have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can cancel free of charge. After the cooling-off period has ended, you may still cancel your claim, however a fee may still be payable on any cash refund that results from a claim already submitted before cancellation. Full details are in our Terms & Conditions.
You do not have to use the services of a Claims Management Company to make a claim. You can complain to your lender, bank or provider directly, free of charge. If you’re unhappy with their response, you may have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for free.
If you have any questions about our fees before starting a claim, we’re happy to talk it through.
